At Limbic Human Capital our work is anchored in two bodies of knowledge: ontological coaching and neuroscience.
Ontological coaching is derived from studies in philosophy, the biology of cognition and communication. In our work we focus on how perceptions and attitudes impact the way that people interact with each other. Ontological coaching can help produce major shifts in behaviour by helping you to new perceptions of yourself and of what is possible in life. Shifting these perceptions is a source of deep change.
Over a series of coaching conversations we can introduce you to the ontological framework that not only helps you deal with your current issue but will allow you to deal with other issues in the future. You’ve probably heard the proverb: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” But what happens when the river dries up and there are no more fish? What we do is akin to helping you create personal wilderness survival strategies so you can be more resilient when new issues arise and to become more resourceful and better at coping with change.
In the ontological methodology we work with three interrelated domains: language, emotions and physiology (body posture). Through a deeper understanding of the role of language in human change, the practicalities of emotional intelligence, and the importance of body intelligence, we can help you transform leadership, create high performance teams and implement change successfully.

By understanding how our brains work we can be more productive and effective in the way that we manage ourselves and lead others. Anchoring soft skills in hard science provides additional rigour and validity in the corporate setting and also helps with greater traction, particularly with “left-brain” clients, contributing to greater productivity in coaching and training.
